2025 Winter Wonderland Big/Little Social!

Excitement filled the air as Wednesday, Dec. 10 brought our Winter Big/Little Social! Students filed into the orchestra room during lunch for an hour of delicious food and fun activities. Many thanks to sophomore Alice Sun for making all the creative desserts, including strawberry marshmallow skewers, marshmallow snowmen, egg tarts, cupcakes, candy cans, and a whole chocolate cake!

Who is the mystery Santa Claus?
Who is the mystery Santa Claus?

Festive holiday music played as Bigs and Littles bonded, sipping apple cider and getting their second plate of desserts. Then, the first event began–Chillharmonics! Each pair got a paper star ornament to draw themselves as snowmen on with their instruments. When everyone finished, they hung their ornament on a Christmas tree in the middle of the room. Laughter filled the room as people shared their drawings and had photo shoots with a mysterious Santa Claus!

The last event of the day was Snow Wars! Bigs linked arms with their Littles and played this extreme version of Four Corners. Groups picked a corner while freshman representative Nicholas Lim closed his eyes and eliminated them. Those whose corner was picked became ‘snowmen’, and got paper snowballs to throw at players still competing and those who were hit joined their ranks. Snowballs were flying left and right as people dashed from corner to corner, careful to obey the no running rule. Finally, as the bell rang, two groups were chosen as the winners, as the last ones standing under a barrage of snowballs.

This December’s Big/Little Social was a great success! As the semester draws to a close, this event was a fun break from the grueling preparation for the upcoming finals week. Study hard, and don’t forget to keep attending our socials!
