Halloween Big/Little Social
With spooky Halloween spirits in the air, orchestra members reconvened on Oct. 28 and 29 in the orchestra room, earnest for another delightful gathering! Hosted by the Orchestra Council, Bigs reunited with their Littles to play games that strengthened companionship in the midst of Halloween festivity.

As usual, the social commenced with a fun icebreaker. The first game then followed, titled Reverse Charades, which provided a unique twist to the holiday classic. First, one person from each pair would be given a word. That person would give the other commands on what to do, which would hint on what the word was. This activity highlighted the importance of teamwork and communication among peers; clear instructions were essential if you wanted to guess the word right!
Titled the Werewolf Chase, the second game had Bigs and Littles linked arms together in pairs, attempting to escape the wrath of a chosen “werewolf.” Anyone who got tagged will become werewolves themselves, joining the growing procession of linked arms. The chaos of it all sparked bursts of laughter as pairs tried to escape the fearful parade, and yet were ultimately cornered. The last pair standing would win a piece of candy! The second game ended the social in blazing spirits.
This social was concluded with new bonds forged, old ones fortified, and a finale full of high spirits and joy. If you are looking for more opportunities to build connections, or to simply find a place within a community, be sure to attend our next orchestra social!
