Gavin Yang is the OC Lead Principal. He is a Junior and plays the violin. The Lead Principal is basically the principal of principals, coordinating meetings with each orchestra's section leaders, offering musical suggestions such as bowings, playing style tips, and practice tips to be passed down to the rest of the orchestra. He also leads warm-ups in class and sometimes helps run rehearsals.
